COMMUNITY ELDERS
As AMBASSADORS of this amazing story, the team has the blessing and support of the DHARUG, BIDJIGAL, WANGAL and DHARAWAL communities which includes the direct descendants of PEMULWUY and BENNELONG. Ensuring their legacy is represented honestly, accurately, and most importantly with community engagement and consultation. Our ELDERS provide advice and support to ensure the authenticity of the Indigenous customs, traditions and beliefs that feature within the FIRST WARRIOR story.

Ancestral Remains
In a joint letter signed by New South Wales Parliament’s Speaker of the House the Honorable Jonathan O'Dea and our Community Ambassadors Uncle Vic Sim and Uncle Colin Isaacs, we have appealed to the various museums across the United Kingdom, for information pertaining to the whereabouts of Pemulwuy’s remains.
“We hope that by sharing this story with the world, that we are able to convince the British Government to return, not only Pemulwuy’s remains, but have all ancestral remains and stolen artifacts returned to all our Indigenous Communities”
Andrew Dillon (Indigenous Producer)
